Cab Franc Wood-Aged Sour Ale began as a red ale base in the Wooden Soul barrel room, where it aged in oak barrels for 1+ years. It was then transferred to Gamling & McDuck Cab Franc barrels and aged for another 1+ years on 75 pounds per barrel of Gamling & McDuck Cab Franc grapes, sourced from Pickberry Vineyard on Sonoma Mountain, California.
Expect notes of mixed berries and cherries along with floral aromas. Mouthfeel includes a sharp acidity carried by a fruity-juicy palate with a slight warming sensation and subtle tannin. 6.5% ABV
